Thembekile Mokhosi is a young innovative professional counsellor- with ample experience in community service initiative via her voluntary work from the two NGOs namely Morija Arts Centre where she is an art education manager and art Therapist and The Hub at Morija where she is an educator, psychosocial therapist and a children counsellor. She obtained both her diploma in Pastoral care and Counselling and BA Spiritual Care and Counselling from National University of Lesotho. In the course of her practicals during her studies; Thembekile found herself passionate working with children.
In addition to her formal educational qualifications, Thembekile has never stopped learning; where she attended workshops, took short free online course from Yali, Global Health e-Learning, Alison, Coursera; either related to her field or from other departments. Miss Mokhosi currently leads Skills and Soup program and Art Club while previously she has lead Elderly Social Issues Awareness program. Her university life was spiced up by being an aerobics instructor of which she now continues pursue in the community as to empower young girls and women.
This art Therapist is a massive crafter and continues to boost her skills by taking craft lessons online and in person. Her love for change involves children engagement in initiatives. Her long exposure to school counselling, artisan, project management, community outreaches and workshop facilitating have granted her with more ethical standards. An inclusive game changer.
