Regis Tafadzwa Mukwapuna, is a seasoned professional Strategic Development Finance Expert with over 12 years’ experience having worked in the public sector, development sector, and private sector. He is familiar with the work of Civil society, UN agencies, Foundations, International Corporations, Government, Embassies, National/International/Regional, and Multilateral donors, and funders.
He has a sound understanding of the SADC region’s socio-economic landscape, regulations, policies, and laws have implemented a human rights programme in the region for three years.
He has held diverse portfolios in his 12-year career spanning from results-Based Financing Operations Manager, Grants Specialist, Managing Consultant, and Accountant among others. He has worked for The Government of Zimbabwe, Hivos Foundation, Crown Agents, Centrifyuj Investments (PVT) Ltd (founder), and The Organization for Public Health Interventions and Development (OPHID).
He is passionate about building resilient communities, sustainable communities, enhancing the livelihoods of communities, and combating climate change and its harsh impact. His major is climate finance and contributes positively to the development of sustainable financing mechanisms and influencing policy to ensure success in combating climate change and its impact.
He is an Associate Member of the Institute of Directors of Zimbabwe, an Associate Member of the Institute of Bankers of Zimbabwe and holds a Master of Science in Strategic Management Degree, and a Bachelor of Commerce Honors Degree in Accountancy.
