Patricia is a Geospatial Engineer with hands – on experience in geospatial technologies, data science and data analytics. She has a B.Sc. in Geospatial Engineering from University of Nairobi; a M.Sc. in Geomatics & Natural Resources Evaluation, University of Florence, Italy, and a PhD in Environmental Planning & management from Kenyatta University. She is currently a lecturer in Kenyatta University where her research interests is analysis of land use and land cover changes, urban densities and urban heat island using remote sensing and GIS technologies. She is a member of International Platform for Adaptation Metrics (IPAM) cities and land use and land cover change working group of international society for photogrammetry and remote sensing (ISPRS). She is also an EIA expert trained by African Nazarene University. She is passionate and advocates for sustainable urban development.
