Jewel is a Programme Assistant with the UN Environment Programme working to support international environmental governance by assisting in the servicing and managing of meetings of the UN Environment Assembly and the Committee of Permanent Representatives to support the negotiation and implementation of resolutions and decisions. My professional interests include international development, global affairs, diplomacy, policymaking and governance with a passion for the environment and sustainable development. I also have experience working on culture and arts projects, international exhibitions, event organizing, logistics, and communications. My educational background is in Environmental Science and I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Studies ( Environmental Resource Conservation). Furthermore, I am an avid hiker who loves to read, write and enjoy nature.
