Jennifer Kwao is co-founder of 1.2 Diaries with a background in law and politics. She is an editor and a consultant working at the EU-AU level on green politics, climate justice, racial justice, diaspora youth mobilisation, and EU policy analysis. Her work has been featured in the online and print edition of the Green European Journal as well as the online publishing of the Climate and Development Knowledge Network.
Previously, she worked as the Public Relations Officer of the African Union Diaspora Youth Initiative where she mobilised diaspora around Agenda 2063 through online campaigns, executing a youth leadership program, and facilitating online workshops and dialogues. Jennifer holds a BA from University College Roosevelt/Utrecht University and an MA in European Studies from KU Leuven, where she wrote her master’s dissertation on Ghana’s colonial legacy in its trade and development relations with the EU and China.
