Isaac Oindo

A proactive environmental scientist working towards bringing solutions for mitigating global warming and climate change and offering different solutions in terms of management of natural resources in different capacities, including monitoring and evaluation of the use of these resources and formulation of environmental laws and policies.

Isaac is a holder of a bachelor’s degree in environmental science (environmental resource conservation) from Kenyatta University and a master’s degree in project planning and management from the University of Nairobi. He is currently a member of the technology transfer, knowledge management, and capacity-building thematic working group in Kenya Platform for Climate Governance (KPCG), a platform that brings all civil societies and NGOs dealing with climate-related issues in Kenya. He serves as a youth representative in the Africa Coalition for Sustainable Energy and Access (ACSEA) Kenya chapter board and is an active member of Major Group Youth and Children in UNEP

He is Program Officer Gender and Climate with Young Women Christian Association, the National Coordinator at 350 Kenya power shift and former Climate Governance Officer at Anglican Development Service Western under Lake Region Economic Bloc Climate Governance Project, and former Environment officer with Vihiga County Government in charge of Climate Change Governance in the County.
