Dominic Amon Nyasulu is a Malawian, a holder of BSC Degree in Rural and Community Development. He is very passionate about climate and environmental justice, and also education for sustainable development advocate with experience spanning over 6 years in various capacities with youth, Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) and INGOs. He has been actively involved in establishing the youth Climate Movement in Malawi and the region.
With major interest in international platforms and climate negotiations, he has served and participated in UN negotiations during COP 17, COP 20, COP 21 and COP24, and African Ministerial platforms on environment, SADC climate change forum, UNFCCC National Adaptation Plan Expos and Community Based Adaptation platforms among others. At national level, he works with civil society platforms in policy related engagements notably around the Nationally Determined Contribution, National Climate Change Management Policy, National Climate Change Learning strategy through advocating readmission policy implementation, Climate Adaptation strategies.
He is currently working with National Youth Network on Climate Change (NYNCC) as National Coordinator and sits in the Malawi National Technical Working Group on DRCC and Climate Change.
