Brian Gada

Brian is a dynamic, focused and seasoned applied Health, Safety, Social and Environmental (HSSE) scientist who has more than 10years of experience in HSSE policy development and implementation, participating in the domestication of Multilateral Environmental Agreements, negotiating in MEAs Conference of Parties (COP) Meetings including working in specific working groups; and Leading the mainstreaming of the World Bank Environmental and Social Framework to ensure that developmental projects avoid, minimize, reduce and/or mitigate adverse HSSE risks and impacts. He has a devoted passion for the sound management of HSSE issues in developmental projects. Brian is a lifelong learner driven by the quest to acquire and apply new and updated knowledge in a bid to ensure the sustainable implementation of projects. He strongly believes that a person who is open-minded, flexible and interested in learning is a critical asset in the current global environment which is turbulent, volatile, and dynamic yet full of uncertainties. Founded on this background, he is accountable for results, a high achiever, and says what he does and does what he says. Among other qualifications, Brian holds a Master of Science Degree in Industrial Ecology and Environmental Management and he is currently working as an international HSSE consultant while at the same time he is leading a group of experts at Aretay Environmental Services Pvt Ltd in Zimbabwe.
