Theophile Dusengimana is employed as an Environment and Climate Change Policy Specialist at the Ministry of Environment (MoE), Rwanda. Prior to joining MoE, he was a Field Environmentalist for Lake Victoria Environmental Management Project, Phase II (LVEMP II) at Rwanda Environment Management Authority (REMA). He has been an Environment, Health and Safety Officer for Cheon Kwang Engineering Company after serving as a District Environment Facilitator for REMA in Nyaruguru District.
Theophile holds a BSc in Environmental Chemistry from the National University of Rwanda. He is completing his thesis for the MSc in Environmental Economics and Natural Resource Management at the University of Lay Adventist of Kigali (UNILAK). Theophile is passionate about environment and sustainability and understands that it is the responsibility of mankind to save the planet and preserve its livability for the generations to come.
