Kawera R. Sylvia

Sylvia holds a Masters’ degree in Environmental Science from the European University of Lefke, Cyprus, and a Bachelor’s degree in Sciences, Biology/Zoology & Conservation from the former National University of Rwanda. She has achieved short courses certificates in Initiating and planning projects, scheduling and budgeting projects as well as managing project risks and changes. Currently she is working as a Project Analysis Specialist at the National Fund for Environment (FONERWA), prior to that she coordinated a Biodiversity Finance project funded by UNDP and implemented by Rwanda Environment Management Authority. Sylvia also participated in several research activities in Nyungwe NP that was studying the habitat of Chimpanzee. She is very passionate about environmental research projects.
