Dr. Madaka Tumbo
Madaka has over ten years of experience in the water and natural resources management sector. She has led more than a significant 15 major research programs in Tanzania and across Africa at the intersection of water, hydrological modeling, agriculture, and climate change. Madaka has been part of developing national policy documents related to water and agriculture in Tanzania. She has a broad knowledge of the scientific, institutional, and policy issues related to water resources management in developing countries. Madaka was formerly the Deputy Director of the Institute of Resources Assessment University of Dar es Salaam. Currently, She is a Board member at the Law School of Tanzania and Forum CC. She has also held senior positions in consulting and not-for-profit sectors.
